Abstract
The current war is characterized by an extensive exposure to injuries, death, and bereavement.Survivors are offered many therapeutic interventions, but most of them are individual. The interventions do not take into account, on the one hand, the consequences of the traumatic event on family members, and on the other hand, the ability of the family to be a source of support for recovery. The article emphasizes the importance of the ecological approach that sees the person within the family context, reviews the challenges faced by the family members, and offers a variety of directions for their involvement in the treatment processes
