About Me

Prof. Ze`ev safrai is a full Prof. in the Land of Israel and Archaeology Department. He Specialized in the Classical Periods (Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods), mainly from the Rabbinic point of view. He published some dozens of books and more than 150 articles. On the Jewish community, Economy of Roman Judea demographic process and so on. His Big project is a sociological and historical commentary for the Mishna (50 volumes) until now 22 volumes were published.
