Interrogating the historical and economic assumptions behind "limited liability", Dr. Korren’s research exposes how this legal principle contributes to moral hazard and social inequality while advocating for legislative reforms to restrict its application. Her work combines research, teaching, and practice as an attorney in the private sector.

In research, Dr. Korren focuses on the liability of corporate officers in private and public companies and on the limited liability rule. Her doctoral research was published as a book by "Nevo" publishing house in 2018 under the title The Limited Liability Rule and the Private Company. The study points out that throughout the history of economic associations until the mid-19th century, the prevailing principle was that anyone operating with assets is liable for the debts arising from their activity. A turning point occurred in the 19th century, when laws were enacted restricting the liability of shareholders for the company's debts, and this exemption from liability expanded over time and persists to this day. Dr. Korren's research challenges the conventional wisdom that the limited liability rule in corporate law is what drove the development of the global economy, pointing instead to the moral hazard arising from limited liability and the widening social gaps caused by the use of this principle. The book proposes to carefully and gradually narrow limited liability and to revoke it through recommended legislative amendments in cases where the limited liability rule was not intended to offer protection. In addition, Dr. Korren has published articles dealing with the liability of corporate officers, as well as articles in the field of ethics regarding the relationship between a contractor's attorney and a homebuyer. Her book and articles are cited in court rulings, including rulings by the Supreme Court of Israel. Furthermore, an article she authored on the subject of derivative suits led to an amendment of the Companies Law of Israel.

In the field of teaching, Dr. Korren currently serves as a teaching associate at Bar-Ilan University, where she teaches the "Advanced Directors" course in the School of Business Administration (MBA program), and the "Directors" course in the Department of Economics within the Faculty of Social Sciences. Additionally, she teaches guided seminars at Netanya Academic College on "Directors' Liability in Private and Public Companies" and a "Guided Seminar in Corporate Law." In the past, she taught a course titled "Liability of Corporate Officers" at the University of Haifa, and has also taught Corporate Law and Arbitration Law courses at Netanya Academic College.

In her private legal practice, Dr. Korren specializes in arbitration and mediation, intergenerational wealth transfer, court-appointed estate administration, corporate formation and restructuring, and real estate contracts. She has also served as an external director for public companies.

Public Activities (Partial List): Dr. Korren serves as the Chair of the Corporations Committee of the Israel Bar Association (Tel Aviv District) and coordinates the annual directors' training courses on behalf of the Bar Association. She has previously served as the Deputy Chair of the National Disciplinary Tribunal of the Israel Bar Association, as the Acting Chair of the Israel Bar Association's Elections Committee, and as the editor of the legal journal Din VaOmer ("Law and Expression"). Furthermore, she was a member of the Committee for Ranking Legal Education Institutions in Israel and represented the Bar Association in hearings held by the Knesset's Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee regarding amendments to the Companies Law and the Arbitration Law. She has coordinated and lectured in numerous continuing legal education programs in the fields of corporate law and arbitration, and has also lectured for the Institute of Judicial Training for Judges, the World Jurists Association, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, and the Institute of Internal Auditors in Israel.
