About Me

Dr. Yaniv Goldberg is a researcher of Yiddish literature and theater. He is a lecturer in theater and law at Bar Ilan University, and at the Peres Academic Center in Rehovot. His field of research deals with the connection between the world of law and theater. He is a tour guide in Ukraine following Jewish culture and theater and a member of the National Theater Awards committee.

Rabbi, attorney, and researcher of literature and theater at the Yiddish Center at Bar Ilan University. His doctoral thesis deals with the mythological show the possessed and the journey to research folklore that documented Eastern European Jewry at the beginning of the 20th century and following which the play was written. Following his research, Goldberg created an experiential journey following the expedition to research folklore, the Jewish theater , the writers and poets in Hebrew and Yiddish, while integrating into the Hasidic culture founded by the Baal Shem Tov and developed in a special way by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev and Rabbi Nachman of Breslav.
