Personal profile

About Me

I am a senior lecturer at Azrieli Faculty of Medicine, Bar-Ilan University . I study the causes and drivers of catastrophic events in pathogen systems. To this end, I apply and develop data-driven techniques rooted in the theory of dynamical systems, along with mathematical models and more.

I received my PhD in Mathematics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University. I then spent six months on a fellowship in George Sugihara’s lab at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. After returning to Israel, I worked in industry for two years before taking a postdoctoral position to study infectious disease dynamics under the supervision of Amit Huppert and Uri Obolski at Tel Aviv University. In 2023, I joined the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine in Safed as a Senior Lecturer.
