About Me

I am linguist, working in the department of English literature and linguistics are Bar Ilan University. I work within the framework of generative linguistics and my main research areas are formal semantics, with special focus on the syntax-semantics and the semantics-pragmatics interface. My main research interests include the following: • Modality and genericity • Copular sentences • Focus sensitivity • Scalar, gradable and polarity sensitive constructions • Aspecual-sensitive construction (including pluractionality and additivity across domains) • Hebrew linguistics • Propositional and speech-act based hedging and intensification
