Dr. Amsterdamer has received her PhD from the Computer Science School at Tel Aviv University. During her PhD, she has worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and at the INRIA Institute (France). Starting the academic year 2015-16 Dr. Amsterdamer is a Senior lecturer at the Bar Ilan University. The research of Dr. Amsterdamer focuses on data management and specifically, on the development of new technologies and tools for creating, querying and mining online knowledge bases, and for collecting and processing data with the crowd of web users. The results of this research are published in the leading conferences and journals of the field.
