Personal profile

About Me

I am a senior lecturer at the Interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences in Bar-Ilan University, Israel, and a licensed clinical psychologist. In my research, I focus on three issues: 1) Memory, Processing and Binding of unattended contextual material. 2) I also focus on the manner by which the presence of such context primes and impacts behaviours, such as cognitive processing and post-traumatic stress symptoms as well as driving behaviour and attention-deficit-disorder processing. By context I mean anything between a real environmental background and one's inner feelings (e.g., how old one feels). 3) Recently I have started researching views on aging (e.g., ageism, subjective age) in terms of how such views : a) may be associated with health, b) may be primed and c) associate with trauma symptoms.
