About Me

I was born in Rome, Italy, on August 2nd 1972 to Catholic parents, studied in international English-speaking schools from age 6 to 18 and am thus literally bilingual. At age 15 I decided to convert to Judaism and after 9 years of studies and efforts to convince the Italian Rabbinate, I was introduced into Abraham's pact as Yaakov Akiva ben Avraham. I am married to Giordana, and have three children: Yedidia (15), Avigail (12) and Meytal (7); I live in Jerusalem and am part of the orthodox congregation Kehillat Yedidia.
