About Me

Prof. Vladimir (Zeev) Khanin is a lecturer in political science at Bar-Ilan University, and head of the Post-Soviet Conflict Research Program (PSCRP) at the BSA Center. He is the academic director of the Institute for Eurasian Jewish Studies in Herzliya, established by the Eurasian Jewish Congress. From 2009 to 2022, he served as the Chief Scientist at the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption. Areas of expertise: Russian-speaking Jewry in Israel and the Diaspora, and relations between Israel and the countries of the former Soviet Union.
