About Me

Vered Halamish is a Lecturer at the School of Education of Bar-Ilan University in Israel. She received her PhD in cognitive psychology from the University of Haifa and was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles, at The Open University of Israel, and at Tel-Aviv University. Her areas of interest include memory, learning, metacognition and motivation. She heads the Learning and Cognition lab, which conducts research on the application of cognitive research to enhance educational practice.
