Dr. Tamir Goren is a senior lecturer at the Department of Land  Israel Studies and Archaeology

Research Areas/Fields of Interest:

The History of the Jewish Arab conflict: Geographical and Political aspects. The urban History of the Mixed Cities during the British Mandate era and the state of Israel. The relationships between Arab and Jews and the History of the Local Government in Eretz Israel. Historical Geography of the Arabs of Eretz Israel during the British Mandate era and the state of Israel. Historical Geography of Eretz Israel in the Modern era

Recent Publications: The Mixed Cities during the War of Independence, Arab Haifa in 1948, The History of the Arab village Hawassa, Municipal Government and the relationships between Arabs and Jews in Haifa during the British Mandate era, Railroads in the Galilee region and around it during the late Ottoman period
