About Me
I was born in the USSR in 1969 and repatriated to Israel in 1990. Completed my Ph.D. dissertation on Dostoevsky and Agnon in 1999 at the Department of Comparative Literature in Bar-Ilan University. The same year I started working at the Department of Literature of the Jewish People. Full professor from 2016. I am an author of books and articles on modern Hebrew and Russian literatures, especially focusing on Agnon, Israeli Russian-language literature, poetics and literary theory.
