Personal profile

About Me

My academic work focuses on mental health, especially in the area of perinatal mental health, utilizing mental health services, rehabilitation and recovery and physical health aspects in mental health. With over 20 years of experience as a social worker in the field of community mental health, initiating and managing several projects for hundreds of clients, I believe that my research should have scientific as well as national and international interdisciplinary field-based implications. I collaborate on research projects with key figures in the community, in ministerial positions and in international interdisciplinary academic positions. I strive to inspire my students to deepen their understanding of these issues while embedding research and knowledge into their practice.
