About Me

Dr. Rachelly Ashwall is a mediator, researcher, and lecturer in the Conflict Management and Resolution and Negotiation Program. She is the recipient of the President's Award for Outstanding Doctoral Students (2018) for her research work in the field of identity-based conflicts in Israel. Dr. Ashwell works in the field of cultural competence and diversity management within the Jerusalem Intercultural Center, including identity crises and intercultural encounters in organizations. She
instructs negotiation courses, mediation certification courses, and workshops on cultural competence and diversity management in organizations.

Dr. Ashwall is an entrepreneur and researcher in the field of conflict resolution education in the 21st century, and deals with the field of online mediation and the connection between face-to-face and hybrid conflict resolution among adults, children and youth.

She is the leader of the first online mediation project in Israel, Agree-Online (2016), and the founder of the online mediation house in Israel, Odri- Online Dispute Resolution in Israel (August 2020).

Dr. Ashwall teaches the following courses in the program: "Conflict Resolution and Mediation in Education Systems in the 21st Century"; "Challenging Tools - Managing Identity-Based Crises in the Organizational Space"; "Online Mediation - Applied Aspects in the Digital Space".
