About Me

Ornit-Spektor-Levy is a faculty member at the science education center, School of Education, Bar Ilan University. She is Head of the Science Teaching Center, and Director of Da-Gan Center - The National Teacher Center for STEM Education in Preschool.

Her research foci are development of scientific curiosity and scientific literacy from early childhood to adolescence; engineering thinking; information literacy; professional development of scientific teachers; information and communication technologies in education. Dr. Spektor-Levy has both national and international experience in facilitating science teachers in implementing novel teaching methods and approaches. She is a member of the ministry of education professional committee for elementary science & technology education.

Her research group consists of graduate students and research scientists in science and technology education.
