About Me
Dr. CPA (Isr.) Ori Grossman is a faculty member at the School of Business Administration. Since December 2024, he has served as a member of the Senate and the Supreme Academic Council of Bar-Ilan University.
Dr. Grossman teaches courses in finance, marketing, and consumer behavior. His research is inherently interdisciplinary and examines, among other topics, how auditory stimuli influence decision-making and consumer behavior. Specifically, his studies focus on the effects of various musical elements on product preferences, brand perceptions, product pricing, time perspectives, and customer satisfaction.
Dr. Grossman’s academic background and professional experience are distinctly multidisciplinary. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (specializing in Marketing) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition, he earned a BA in Political Science and Communication (magna cum laude) from Bar-Ilan University, as well as a BA in Economics and Accounting and an MBA (cum laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Dr. Grossman is a graduate of the Telma Yellin High School of the Arts. During his military service as an “Outstanding Musician,” he studied music and piano performance for three years (out of four) as part of a bachelor’s degree program at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University.
After completing his undergraduate degree in Economics and Accounting, he worked as an accountant in the professional department at BDO Ziv Haft, managed the professional department at the economic consulting firm Giza Singer Even, and also served as an accountant in the Corporations Department at the Israel Securities Authority.
