About Me

He is the recipient of numerous academic scholarships and grants, among which is a Research Fellowship from the Centre de Recherche en ?conomie et Statistique from the ?cole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration ?conomique in Paris, France. He also received several research grants, including from the Israel Science Foundation. Lieberman's academic research focuses on econometric theory and practice, financial econometrics and time-series analysis. A two-times winner of the Econometric Theory Award, Offer Lieberman joined BIU's Department of Economics, having filled previous positions at the Technion, Visiting Professor at Yale University and the University of Iowa, and Lecturer at the University of Bristol in England. Lieberman holds a BA and an MA in Economics from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and a PhD in Economics from Monash University in Australia.
