About Me

Nira Alperson-Afil specializes in Prehistoric archaeology. Her main interests are the Lower and Middle Palaeolithic periods, technology and typology of stone tools, early use of fire, and the evolution of human behavior. Her current project uses GIS software for spatial analyses of archaeological material at the Acheulian site of Gesher Benot Ya'aqov
