About Me
I joined Bar-Ilan's school of communication as lecturer in 2014, after completing my Ph.D at the school of Media, Arts and Design at the University of Westminster in London. I am interested in all forms of cultural production and visual culture, and the ways these intersect with international news media; news production; media institutions; and media ethnography. I am currently teaching several courses at Bar-Ilan such as “History of Communication”, “Qualitative Research Methods”, “Cultural Approaches in Media Studies”, and run the “News in TV and Film” and “The Manufacturers of News” seminars for BA and MA students.
