About Me

 Associate Professor Iris BenDavid-Hadar is Head of the Faculty Unit for Development, Assessment and Alumni Relations in the Faculty of Esucation,

Prof. BenDavid-Hadar heads the Educational Policy and Finance program in the Faculty of Educational, as well as the program for Leadership, Administration and Policy Studies. She received her Ph.D. from Bar Ilan University. Previously, she was a Visiting Scholar at the School of Education at Stanford University. 
Prof. BenDavid-Hadar's research focuses on Economics and education, School Finance Policy, Resource Reallocation, and Justice.  

Her current research focuses on investigating, conceptualizing, and theorizing school finance policies, methods of resource allocation to education (i.e. allocation mechanisms and funding formulae), and redistribution mechanisms. Specifically, I investigate the theoretical and empirical relationships between: (a) school finance policy, methods of resource allocation, and educational achievement distribution (EAD); and (b) the state's EAD, its competitiveness, and its social cohesiveness.
