About Me

My research interest is based in identity and memory formations. One line is based in Jewish history: I've published a book and several articles on the Mashhadi crypto-Jewish community, the influence of memory practices on the formation of its particular identity. Lately, I'm working on the visualization of Jewish identity in Jewish museums as part of the Jewish identity discourse. I'm also working on the combination of antisemitism, imperialism and liberalism within English identity discourse.
