Dr. Shrem is a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He owns a private clinic and is a consultant physician in the field of fertility for Meuhedet Health Insurance policyholders. He completed his studies at the Technion Faculty of Medicine in Haifa and then specialized in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center and completed his final residency exam with honors. He was a senior physician in the IVF unit in the department, established the multidisciplinary clinic for the treatment of women with polycystic ovary syndrome, and later worked in the IVF unit at the prestigious center of McGill University, Montreal, Canada. His areas of expertise include, among others: investigating fertility problems, especially foam uterine imaging (ExEm Foam) - an innovative, accurate and painless method, fertility treatments including hormonal stimulation, inseminations, and in vitro fertilization. Also, counseling on hormonal disorders of all types, such as: ovulation disorders, menstrual irregularities and irregular bleeding. Dr. Sharim is an academic faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine of Bar-Ilan University, engages in research, publishes in conferences and journals, and lectures at the Faculty of Medicine to medical students and physicians.
