About Me

Associate Professor in the Gender Studies Program at Bar-Ilan University.

My research focuses on a field called the geographies of sexualities, which explores the connections and mutual construction of space (physical, emotional, social, symbolic, and virtual) and LGBTQ+ subjectivities. I have conducted several research projects on homonationalism, queer safe space, LGBTQ+ politics, pride parades and activism, LGBTQ+ political subjectivities, LGBT-phobia, and sexual harassment.

In 2026 I founded the Israeli Association for LGBT-Queer research. The association was established to provide an interdisciplinary academic home for research related to LGBTQ+ issues and queer theory in Israel.
