About Me
Dr. Geula Elimelekh teaches regularly on a variety of subjects: the Arab Political Novel, Arabic Literature by Iraqi Jews in the Twentieth Century, the History of Classical and Modern Arabic Literature, and selected topics from Modern Arabic Literature.
Dr. Elimelekh's fields of research topics include humanitarian and existential issues which preoccupied and occupy the greatest writers and thinkers in the Arab world and across the globe, such as: violation of human rights, democracy, dictatorship, postcolonialism, violence, terrorism, freedom, freedom of expression, exile, and alienation.
