About Me

I am a Senior lecturer and Head of the Department of Middle Eastern Studies, Bar-Ilan University, Israel. My research focuses on various aspects of the Arab-Israeli conflict, chiefly with regard to the early stages of the UN's involvement in Arab-Israeli conflict. My most recent study was published as a book in Hebrew by The Ben-Gurion Research Institute and in an English translation in 2015, as Ralph Bunche and the Arab-Israeli Conflict: Mediation and the UN 1947–1949 (Routledge). My current project deals with the UN plans for the internationalization of Jerusalem in 1947-1950.
