Dan Shapira is Professr in the Dept. of Middle Eastern Studies, Bar-Ilan University and Feldman Professor of the History and Culture of Eastern European Jewry, Faculty of Jewish Studies.
Language Skills: fluent in Hebrew, English, Russian, German, Persian, Turkish, Azeri, Crimean-Tatar, Arabic (including Palestinian, Egyptian and Iraqi dialects), Urdu & Hindi, Yiddish, Ukrainian, Maltese.
