About Me

Clila Magen is a lecturer in Public Relations at the School of Communication and a research fellow at the Center for International Communication at Bar-Ilan University in Israel. Prior to joining academia she served as a spokesperson for the Chair of the Committee of Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Knesset (Parliament). From 2009 to 2011, she was a visiting scholar at the Communication Research Center, College of Communication, Boston University. Her fields of research include public relations, crisis communication and nation branding. She is the author of a book on intelligence services and the media in Israel.
