Carmit Altman is a lecturer at the School Counseling and Child Development programs at the School of Education of Bar Ilan University. She received her PhD in Linguistics from Bar Ilan University and her expertise is in bilingualism, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistic and language acquisition in typically developing bilingual children and adults as well as speakers with impairment. Her work has been published in the Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development ,Applied Psycholinguistics, Aphasiology .She is a co-PI with Armon-Lotem and Walters on the current ISF funded project. In addition, she is affiliated with the child development centers for typically developing children (Harris Center) and atypically developing children (Baker Center) in the School of Education at Bar Ilan University.
