About Me

Short bio:

Prof. Lauterbach has a PhD in Finance from the University of Chicago, one of America's most esteemed universities, graduating in 1986. He joined the Graduate School of Business Administration in 1988 and in 2010-2011 he served as the school's Dean and Chairman. His main research interests include Corporate Control and Social Responsibility, Financial Markets' Microstructure, and Asset Pricing. Prof. Lauterbach has gained wide international professional recognition, publishing more than 60 papers in scientific journals, including several publications in the top three journals in Finance (Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies). In addition, he regularly presents at international conferences, and is a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
