About Me
In her research, Dr. Ayelet Peer focuses on the writings of Julius Caesar and civil wars in Greece and Rome. In addition, in the field of classical reception, she investigates how the ancient world is received in popular Japanese media (manga and anime). She also deals with civil wars in Greece and Rome, political history of Greece and Rome, in the end of the Roman Republic and in Latin literature.
