Anna Lyubman-Knizhnik

Dr. Anna Lubman joined the faculty of the Department of English as a Foreign Language at Bar-Ilan University in 1994 and specializes in teaching English.

She holds a BA in Language Studies, a MA, and a PhD in English Linguistics from Bar-Ilan University. She wrote her doctoral thesis on the topic: Language Impairment in Patients with Hepatic Encephalopathy.

My specialization is in teaching academic reading and writing, academic discourse, and business English. Learning languages ​​has always fascinated me and is also a tradition in my family. Learning a language broadens horizons and increases intelligence, and specifically, English is an international language. And acquiring all the language skills are important and complement each other. I believe in the importance of active and enjoyable learning and implement this in lessons, in developing new content and teaching materials, and in fruitful and enjoyable collaborations with the department's faculty, which is evident in an empathetic relationship and personal connection with the students.
