I was born in Jerusalem, and raised in Omer (after 3 years in the US, due to my fathers Post-doc). I graduated from Eshel Hanasi agricultural high school. During my military service I was an officer in the armored corps, serving as a platoon commander, and till recently in active reserve. I performed my undergraduate and PhD studies in Physics, in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My research was on local properties of high temperature superconductors. I continued to a post-doc in UC San Diego, to study and learn how to fabricate nano-devices of magnetic and correlated materials. I started my own lab in Bar Ilan in 2010, where we are focusing on nano-scale properties of correlated electron systems, mainly for basic understanding, but also for future applications.
