Members of the academic staff of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Bar-Ilan University research a wide range of topics. Their researches are published in distinguished international and Israeli academic outlets. The department offers its students a rich variety of courses dealing with issues that are of relevance to contemporary social life and institutions, enabling them to thoroughly appreciate the contribution of sociology and anthropology to furthering the understanding of issues that stand at the forefront of academic research and at the heart of public concern and debate.
