Bar Ilan University's Interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences was established in 1974 with the intent on integrating the study of multiple disciplines of the Social Sciences. The department has expanded into different tracks within the fields of behavioral sciences, economics and society.

The department currently consists of two tracks: All of the tracks are studied as an extended major only.

  1. "Prat" Track- Studies in the fields of: Psychology, Criminology and Sociology.
  2. "Rentgen" Track- Multi-field studies in Social Sciences, X-ray imaging and Life Sciences.
