Prof. Eitan Okun from the Brain Research Center at Bar-Ilan University has been working with his colleagues for the past decade on Alzheimer's disease. On October 7, everything changed when he left his wife and five children at the military base and went out with members of the readiness squad to fight terrorists who had infiltrated the kibbutz where they live. In an interview with Ynet, he spoke about the fighting, the defense of the kibbutz, and also about the important research he is conducting.
