The Intermittent fasting trend has become quite popular in recent years all over the world. Prof. Eitan Okun from the Multidisciplinary Center for Brain Research at Bar-Ilan University, was interviewed for an article on Channel 13 and said that studies prove that this is not only a method for weight loss, but also the healthiest diet.
Prof. Okun, a proponent of the combined fasting diet himself (22 hours of fasting, 2 hours of eating), claims that the life expectancy of intermittent fasting can increase by thirty-five percent and prevent dementia.
