Description

In 2012, I had the privilege of serving as the Chair for the first ever Peptides, Chemistry & Biology Gordon Research Seminar (GRS), an event designed to foster discussions among graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in a stimulating and supportive environment. As Chair, I was responsible for shaping the seminar's agenda, facilitating vibrant discussions, and ensuring a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere. This role allowed me to refine my leadership and communication skills, as I worked to engage diverse perspectives and encourage active participation. The experience was incredibly enriching, providing me with valuable insights into the dynamics of scientific dialogue and the importance of fostering a supportive space for emerging researchers to share their ideas and challenges.
